🔻ISNA reports that Faresheid Ismaili, a player for Zob Ahan, after the final whistle of the match against Persepolis, smashed the entrance door to the referees’ room.

Zob Ahan players believed that in the final minutes, a scene that looked like a penalty occurred in Persepolis’s penalty area, but Meysam Heydari, the match referee, whistled for the end without reviewing the scene.

🔹After the match, Ismaili, with harsh criticism of how the referee handled the video assistant referee, said: «They told the referee to review the scene, but he claimed that he blew the final whistle. What’s strange is that a few seconds after the match, they collected his VAR equipment and took it away.»

🔹In response to this incident, he added: «They played well and won the match, but I hope the Referees Committee and the referee himself will have the courage to apologize to Zob Ahan. On his phone, they tell him it was a penalty, but he replies, “Seriously? I blew the final whistle!”»

🔹The match ended with a 2–0 victory for the capital’s red-clad team.
