Ismail Baqai, the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic, said that the International Atomic Energy Agency and its director general, during the past years, have played a role in the formation of a narrative through “ambiguous or incorrect reports,” which was later used by the United States and Israel as a basis to justify an attack on Iran.

Baqai said: “The Islamic Republic will pursue the issue of the agency’s responsibility and the director general’s responsibility, and this matter will not be taken off Tehran’s agenda.”

The foreign ministry spokesman added that they will not forget this fact that only one day after the publication of the agency’s report, the United States and Israel began their attacks against the Islamic Republic.
