Human Rights Organization Karun reported that Ali Chaldavey, a 13-year-old Arab child and a sixth-grade student, was arrested on Thursday, 19 Shahrivar, by forces of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the village of Abodeh, Ahvaz.

According to this report, his father, Mostafa Chaldavey, and at least 10 other Sunni Arab citizens were also detained during this operation.

The organization said that some of the detainees were transferred to Sheyban Prison in Ahvaz, but no precise information is available about the location of the other people and their health status, including Ali Chaldavey. The families of the detainees also expressed concern about their situation.

Human Rights Organization Karun called for the detainees’ place of detention to be clarified, their access to their families and a lawyer, and Ali Chaldavey’s release.
