Continuing the upward trend in prices in the currency and gold markets, the U.S. dollar rate in Iran’s open market reached an unprecedented record of 228,000 tomans. At the same time, the price of each new-design gold coin (sikke) also rose to 239 million and 500 thousand tomans, registering a historic record.
