🔸The stopping of commercial trucks at the zero point of the Iran–Pakistan border has been followed by protests by drivers over unfavorable conditions and their uncertainty.

🔸In a video published on social media, the drivers say, “For seven days, we have been stuck in this area, in unsuitable conditions, without sufficient access to water, hygienic facilities, or a proper place to rest.”

🔸A female driver says that gas-carrying trucks are allowed to pass, but refrigerated and tent trucks are still being held.

🔸According to one of the drivers, the continuation of this situation and the running out of fuel has caused the trucks’ cooling systems to shut down, and as a result, part of the food cargo has been exposed to spoilage and damage.

🔸The drivers also complain about the lack of fuel rationing, saying that neither do they have the possibility to return to Iran, nor does Pakistan allow them to unload the cargo.

🔸According to Etemad Iran, reports released from the former border in Rasak County indicate that many trucks are stopped on the Iranian side, and Pakistani officials are not allowing them to enter.
