🔺Canada emphasized the need to halt destabilizing actions by the Islamic Republic

▪Canada’s foreign minister, while condemning destabilizing actions by the Islamic Republic, stated that the Islamic Republic must immediately stop threats in the Strait of Hormuz, illegal nuclear activities, and support for proxy groups.

▪Anita Anand said: «Iran’s threats in the Strait of Hormuz, its illegal nuclear activities, and its support for regional proxy groups continue to undermine global peace and security, and these actions must end.»

▪She referred to a joint statement with Canada’s finance minister, in which «Canada’s actions and those of its partners to maintain pressure on Iran, and efforts to disrupt Iran’s ability to finance terrorist activities» were outlined.
