🔶 Call to Iranians abroad; detention and restrictions inside

In recent days, alongside the continuation of the U.S. war and the intensification of sanctions and blockade, reports have been published about increased security and judicial pressure on writers, artists, and journalists inside Iran.

This is while government officials, mostly close to Masoud Pezeshkian, the president, have urged prominent and non-prominent Iranians living abroad to return to Iran “without worry.”

In reality, however, the collection of reports published about the issuing of prison sentences, the opening of court cases, and the detention of a number of civil, cultural, and artistic activists and people connected to minorities indicates otherwise.
