Britain on Tuesday summoned Iran’s chargé d’affaires in the country in protest of the role of the IRGC’s Quds Force in directing a proxy group to carry out attacks in Europe.

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said in a statement on Tuesday, 23 Tir, that Ali Nasimfar, the representative of the Islamic Republic, was summoned to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office because of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps directing a group called “Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right” to carry out attacks across Europe between March and May.

The group had previously claimed responsibility for some attacks in Britain targeting centers associated with the Jewish community, Israel, as well as Persian-language media abroad.
