🔻 Bahrain’s Ministry of the Interior announced that warning sirens sounded across the country early on Friday morning.

The ministry said in a message on the X platform: “The warning alarm has been sounded. All citizens and residents are asked to remain calm and go to the nearest safe location.”

A reporter from AFP also reported hearing the sound of an explosion.

Two weeks have passed since the renewed escalation of fighting between the United States and Iran; during which, Iran has carried out attacks almost every day against Bahrain and a number of other countries in the Persian Gulf region.
