🔻Alireza Dabir, president of the Wrestling Federation, defended the access rent exemption of the federation under his control from receiving technical and financial competence certification in order to enter the mining sector and said it is legal.
🔹Dabir said: “Mining is for the Wrestling Federation and it isn’t for an individual. The federation’s bylaws were written beforehand, and one of its clauses says that the Wrestling Federation can carry out economic activities. Many bodies do economic work. Their bylaws provide for it and it is the law. We can also do construction and development.”
🔹In a meeting on 27 Mordad 1405, the Supreme Council of Mines, with the maximum number of votes, granted this sports federation an exemption from receiving “technical and financial competence certification” and a mining exploration license “to compensate for part of the damages incurred to the Wrestling Federation” in the 40-day war.
🔹This comes while Fathollah Tusi, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, had previously written on the X social network that this exemption was granted to the Wrestling Federation under pressure on the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade: “One of the sports federations, by pressuring the Ministry of Industry and Mine, received this exemption from this ministry’s technical competence certification in order to register exploration areas! Really, what’s going on in this country?”
