Previously, Naser Moradi, father of Amir Hossein Moradi—one of the protesters sentenced to death—had ended his life during the protests of November 2019 (Aban 98).

But this pressure does not always end in self-chosen death; reports of illness, stroke, being forced to stay home, and severe physical and psychological exhaustion have also been shared among families of those seeking justice.

Can a legal relationship be established between these harms and the security and judicial pressures exerted against families of those seeking justice? What is the responsibility of those responsible for these pressures, and how can these harms be proven and pursued?
