According to information received by “IranWire,” “Abolfazl Damanjani,” one of those detained in Dey 1404, despite physical problems, has gone on a hunger strike since 13 Tir 1405, along with a number of other prisoners, in Vakilabad Prison.

A source familiar with the matter tells IranWire that the latest contact between Abolfazl Damanjani and his family was on that same day; after that, they have neither received any calls nor seen him in the ward.

The family of this citizen from Mashhad says that since 13 Tir, the place where he and another prisoner named “Ahmad Rahimi” are held has been Hall 1 of the quarantine ward in Vakilabad Prison, but they have been transferred from that ward to an undisclosed location.
