Iran’s foreign minister, on the X social network, wrote that hundreds of facilities at U.S. military bases in the region have been damaged and dozens of U.S. aircraft have burned in the fire.

The Iranian foreign minister, in these remarks, cited information published by the U.S. Department of Defense (War) and dismissed it as a mockery, calling the claim that Iran is “defenseless” “fantasy.”

Previously, the U.S. Army, in a report submitted to Congress, had acknowledged that Iran’s attacks on “hundreds of buildings and structures” at U.S. military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, and Jordan had damaged them or destroyed them. According to this report, dozens of U.S. fighter jets and other aircraft were destroyed or damaged during the conflict. Araqchi described these damages as “only the tip of the iceberg.”
