🔶Disagreement at the top of the ruling system; hardliners or supporters of negotiations? 🔻Report by Marad Rahmati Disagreement at the top of the Islamic Republic’s ruling system has grown more extensive and more visible. From the sudden interruption of a televised dialogue involving Mohammad-Bagher Qalibaf, the head of the parliament, to the publication of a letter by a number of members of the Assembly of Experts against the course of negotiations, along with contradictory statements from various political currents. These developments coincide with the continued Iran–United States negotiations and a fragile ceasefire, raising the question of whether these differences will get out of control or whether they will continue to be managed within the framework of the system. Deutsche Welle spoke for this investigation with Reza Alijani, an analyst and political activist, and Mashallah Razmi, a regional affairs analyst.
