The UN General Assembly, in a resolution, emphasized the need to continue efforts to determine the fate and whereabouts of missing Syrians and to support their families. The UN’s independent institution for Syrians who are missing says its mandate includes all missing persons, regardless of political affiliation, nationality, or the time of their disappearance.
