Ukrainian forces targeted Moscow in the early hours of Monday with more than 400 drones.
Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, said most of the drones were intercepted at a distance, and 85 were destroyed near the capital.
Andrei Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region, wrote on Telegram that two people were injured and that several civilian infrastructure facilities caught fire or were damaged.
Russian monitoring channels reported that an oil depot about 40 kilometers south of the Kremlin and a logistics center of an online retail company were targeted. This is the second major Ukrainian attack on the Moscow region in the past three days.
Vladimir Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, said the aim of this campaign is to make Vladimir Putin feel the war in Moscow.
