The U.S. Southern Command (Southcom), by publishing this image, announced that a U.S. Navy “MH-60R Sea Hawk” helicopter has been prepared to fly in support of disaster relief operations for Venezuela’s earthquake victims.

According to Southcom, U.S. forces are participating in the relief operation for those affected by the earthquake on July 3 in Venezuela, at the direction of this command and with coordination from the U.S. Department of State.
