🔶 Trump: The Islamic Republic is losing its ability to confront the uprising of the people

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, on Wednesday, 11 Shahrivar (September 2), expressed support for “the uprising of the Iranian people against the Islamic Republic” and said that the Iranian government is becoming weaker every day.

In response to a question by Peter Doocy, a reporter for the Fox News network, about the possibility of help from the CIA for arming Iranians and helping them with “uprising and struggle,” Trump said he would like to answer the question, but that discussing such a topic is “not appropriate.” He added that he understands the conditions of the Iranian people because they are being shot at and that perhaps 65,000 protesters have been killed.

The U.S. president also said that regime forces use machine guns and sniper rifles against gatherings, and he identified this deadly crackdown as the main reason why people have not been appearing widely in the streets. The Iranian people do not carry out a broad uprising against the government out of fear of being killed.

Trump, however, emphasized that it is only a matter of time before the government can no longer resist a broader uprising.
