Three killed in Russian attacks on Odesa port in Ukraine;
Russian attacks on a building in the port city of Odesa, located on the shores of the Black Sea, resulted in the deaths of three Ukrainian citizens. Serhii Lysak, the head of the Odesa military administration, announced on Wednesday that three more people were also injured in the attacks.
Over the past few days, Russia has intensified its attacks on Odesa, one of Ukraine’s main ports for foreign trade.
Oleh Kiper, the local governor of Odesa, also announced on Tuesday that two people were killed in Russian drone attacks on port infrastructure and that a ship flying the flag of the Marshall Islands was also damaged.
Ukraine has also intensified attacks on energy infrastructure and Russian ships in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, on Monday of this week, the European Union and the United Kingdom, in a joint statement, announced an agreement for the UK’s participation in the “Ukraine Support Loan” program worth 90 billion euros.
