The price of the US dollar in Iran’s free market reached 230,000 tomans, and dollar transfers reached 235,000 tomans.

Each British pound was traded at 312,000 tomans, and the Imamí coin was traded at 238 million tomans.

The dollar closed on Saturday of last week at 206,400 tomans and since then has set a new record every day.

According to gold and currency information websites, the dollar rate on the first day of the current week crossed the 227,000-toman level and set a new record. Today’s figure is nearly 12% higher than the start of last week.

The Imamí coin was traded on Saturday at 236.5 million tomans.
