The mullah regime is so afraid of the presence of the people. Not long ago, on the night of Nasâci Qā’imshahr’s promotion, the fans went into the streets to celebrate their city’s team’s promotion in huge numbers. After about half an hour of joy and stomping, the Qā’imshahr intelligence officers poured into the street with batons and AKs. They were firing into the air. They were chanting “Heydar, Heydar.” Some people were beaten with batons and fists, and some were taken onto their vans without any clearly specified reason and taken away. Many were injured and lying unconscious in the middle of the street. Some, who were running out of fear, were chased by armed men.
