The London Sunday Times wrote in a report that two luxury apartments connected to Mojtaba Khamenei, overlooking Kensington Palace, have been put up for sale. These penthouses, which had been purchased for £36 million, were subsequently listed for sale after Ali Ansari, the owner of the dissolved “Foume” bank who is accused of being a broker for Mojtaba Khamenei, was sanctioned.

According to the report, the apartments for sale are located in the modern building number 3 at Palace Green, near Kensington Palace Gardens in west London, and each has separate accommodation for staff and a private rooftop terrace.

The two apartments were bought by Ali Ansari in 2014 and 2016. In July, Ansari was sanctioned by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, which described him as a “key financial provider” for Mojtaba Khamenei.
