The body of Javad Mojabi, a poet, writer, humorist, and arts critic, was laid to rest at Imamzadeh Taher in Karaj.

Mojabi died in Tehran at the age of 87. He was a multifaceted intellectual and one of the influential figures of contemporary Iranian literature and culture, who wrote and created for more than six decades, and whose name became intertwined with one of the darkest chapters of the suppression of writers under the Islamic Republic.
