Taras Khotov, head of the Public Oversight Council at Ukraine’s Economic Security Office (BEB), accuses Mykhailo Fedorov of a conflict of interests arising from the revolving cycle between the government and the private sector.

The core of his point is this: while Fedorov was in government, he supported Palantir’s deep integration into Ukraine’s defense and intelligence systems and promoted Ukraine’s battlefield data as a valuable asset.

Soon after leaving the government, Fedorov launched a private defense technology company with Alex Karp, Palantir’s CEO, as its first major investor.

In fact, Khotov is asking whether the connections, access, and strategic assets that were cultivated during Fedorov’s time in the ministry have now turned into private commercial advantage or not.
