🔶 Sound of explosions in Bandar Abbas and Bushehr; IRIB denies, IRNA confirms

According to Mehr News Agency, on Thursday evening, 18 Tir, some news sources and local residents reported hearing the sounds of explosions in the city of Bandar Abbas.

IRIB, however, announced: “Contrary to some reports published in cyberspace, no explosions have been reported in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, Sirik, and Jask to this moment.”

ISNA, citing the governor of Bushehr, had written that the cause of the explosion sounds in this city is under investigation.

Moments later, Ehsan Jahanian, the political and security deputy of the governor of Bushehr, said that the sound of an explosion heard a few moments earlier in the city of Bushehr was influenced by the timely response of the air defense.

The political and security deputy of the governor of Bushehr added: “So far, no report has been received regarding human casualties affected by this criminal act of the enemy.”

IRNA also wrote: “A few moments ago, a military site on the outskirts of the city of Bushehr was targeted by the assault and impact of a projectile from the American Zionist enemy.”
