خبرآنلاین: Some hardline lawmakers were summoned following the sit-in in front of parliament
Majid Nasirpoor, a member of the Social Commission of Iran’s Parliament, in an interview with KhabarOnline, criticizing the performance of some political and media groups during wartime, said that much of the official podiums and media outlets were in the hands of a particular current, and the publication of some costly accounts and remarks created the conditions for slogans and for confrontation with the officials of the country.
He added that some people, despite their responsibilities and positions, should not fan the flames of disagreements. He claimed that, based on what he has heard, a number of figures connected to the sit-in in front of parliament were summoned by the relevant authorities and given a serious warning.
Nasirpoor also emphasized that some political currents see their survival in creating polarization and sowing discord, and believe that with the disappearance of this atmosphere, they will lose their capital and political life. In his view, ultimately, the cost of this will be imposed on the country and the people.
