Russian President Vladimir Putin has held an official welcoming ceremony for Vietnamese President To Lam in the St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

The leaders met in the center of the hall and shook hands while the two countries’ national anthems were performed.

Lam last visited Russia in May 2025, when a Joint Declaration on comprehensive strategic partnership was adopted.
