Reuters, on Wednesday 25 Shahrivar, citing the CEO and one of the company’s founders of the American company Paraas, reported that the company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pakistan Army and also received an initial order.
The order relates to unmanned air systems.
The news was published at the same time as a delegation visit by Paraas to the office of Robert Burt Velikovich, with Asim Munir, commander of the Pakistan Army and head of the Pakistan defense forces, at the army headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The Pakistan Army said the two sides discussed cooperation in the field of defense technologies, the purchase and production of military equipment, and the development of capabilities, but in its official statement it did not disclose details of the order or the type of unmanned systems.
