President Pezeshkian: the country’s achievements are the result of people’s solidarity and the perseverance of industrialists

Our diplomacy apparatus will never back down from the rights of the Iranian nation.

Enemies imposed an all-out war on the Iranian nation with the aim of creating domestic pressure and social collapse, but you—proud producers and industrialists—stood up against every difficulty with unparalleled resilience, and you thwarted the great powers in reaching their nefarious goals.

In fact, it was you who fought the enemies on the economic front and prevented the country, in those sensitive circumstances, from facing shortages and famine.

Although state TV and radio only broadcast part of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s remarks about not negotiating, in private sessions with him, he emphasized the necessity of ending the situation of “neither war nor peace.”

That is why, relying on the country’s honor, expediency, wisdom, and pride, we began the negotiations, and our diplomatic apparatus will never back down from the rights of the Iranian nation.

My heartfelt belief is that every achievement we have is by the blessing of the guidance of the late Leader. Today, too, we need the support of the Supreme Leader, and we will continue the path with strength. In the way of serving the people, we have no fear of martyrdom; nothing is more valuable than martyrdom in the way of serving the people.

Now, too, with increased communication and greater access to our dear Leader, all actions have been organized in accordance with his guidance. In these negotiations, we proceeded step by step, and our main position was to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for oil exports and other vital issues, but the other side violated [the agreement].
