🔶 Power facilities in Kish were attacked

Tasnim News Agency, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that part of the electricity power plant on the island of Kish was damaged as a result of attacks early this morning (July 14/ Tir 23).

According to this report, a projectile exploded near the water and power production site of the island of Kish, and given the proximity of the impact location to the location of the electricity generation units, some technical parameters of these units have changed.

The report says that “the shutdown of some power generation units for repairs is not impossible,” which could, if necessary, lead to “unavoidable temporary and scheduled power outages.”

Tasnim also reported that the tourist island of Kish was hit by seven projectiles from the first minutes of Tuesday early morning until one hour afterward. As a result of some of those explosions in the harbor area of the island, several vessels sustained damage.

Meanwhile, it was announced that Qeshm was also the target of U.S. attacks on Tuesday evening. IRNA reported that no one was injured in these attacks and that no damage was done to residential and commercial infrastructure.
