Alongside the fourth anniversary of the killing of Mahsa Zhina Amini and calls for a strike, citizens, in messages to Iran International, reported the widespread deployment of armed forces, the creation of checkpoints, and patrols of military vehicles in a number of cities across Iran.

According to messages received by Iran International, markets and shops in Saqqez, Sanandaj, and Kamyaran were widely closed.

Citizens also reported the presence of riot-control forces and vehicles equipped with machine guns in these cities.

Reports have also been published about the establishment of checkpoints in Tehran and the widespread deployment of military, Basij, and plainclothes forces, as well as vehicles equipped with machine guns, at the entrances to Sardroud, Aligudarz, and Zahedan.

In Zahedan, citizens have reported that security forces continue to raid and arrest young people.
