🔻On March 1 (10 Esfand 1404), that is, one day after the start of the war with Iran, an Iranian drone struck the location of Colonel Cody Kuchuk (from the U.S. Army Reserve forces) at a base in Kuwait, resulting in his death and the death of five other American servicemen.

According to CBS News, his family is now calling for the release of the Army’s investigation report into this Iranian drone strike on American forces—a request that comes months after the Army announced the end of its investigation in early July.

Kuchuk’s family says that in his capacity as a security officer, Cody repeatedly warned his unit commander, Major General Clint Barnes, about the risk of an Iranian attack on their site, which was located at an approximate distance of 100 kilometers from the border.

Stacy, Cody’s mother, told CBS: “My son’s death was unnecessary.”

In response to Kuchuk’s family and CBS News, the U.S. Army confirmed that its investigation into the deadly Iranian attack in early July has been completed, but it has not yet released it.
