New details about the death of Mohsen Namazi indicate that his family, after threats from security institutions, were compelled to bury their child’s body in Jolfa, East Azerbaijan Province. After transferring her son to a clinic, Mohsen Namazi’s mother stayed for hours beside his body, but officers removed her from the scene.
