🔶 Netanyahu: Trump isn’t Israel’s only friend; we have many friends Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, rejected remarks by J.D. Vance, the U.S. vice president, that Donald Trump is the “only leader in the world” who supports Israel, and said that Israel “has many friends” around the world. Speaking to Fox News, Netanyahu, while describing Trump as the “biggest friend of Israel in the White House,” added: “That doesn’t mean we don’t have another friend.” He cited India as one of the countries, according to him, that has close ties with Israel, and emphasized that many leaders around the world, especially in the fields of defense, technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, want to cooperate with Israel. The Israeli prime minister also denied a rift between himself and Trump over Iran and said: “We agree 99 percent of the time. Like any family or close friends, sometimes there are disagreements, but usually we resolve them.”
