Mostafa Pourdehghan, a member of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission, announced that lifting internet restrictions has been deferred to a time when, according to him, “the country’s conditions are more stable.”

He told ISNA: “Under current conditions, the country’s priority is security issues.” According to Pourdehghan, efforts to open up internet access and reduce restrictions will continue, but implementing them depends on later conditions.
