Mohammadreza Aref, deputy to Massoud Pezeshkian, said the events of Dey were “very severe” and more than three thousand people lost their lives.
Referring to the announcement of a list of the victims of these events, he said that the announcement of this list was carried out with “the discretion of Ali Khamenei,” and added that while the figures announced by the “enemy” were more than 30,000 people, inside the country some had questions about the accuracy of the figure of 36,000 killed.
