🔻Mohammad Esfandiyarpour, CEO of Gol Gohar Sirjan, in an interview with a program on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s IRIB in response to remarks by Hajjat Karimi, the CEO of Tractor, about recording and broadcasting the insults of Khodadad Azizi, said: “Why was something said that should be recorded and broadcast? Who said it shouldn’t have been broadcast? Don’t shift forward.”
🔹He, while expressing ignorance about the process of the altercation between the two teams’ dressing rooms after the end of the match, regarding the ban on Omid Alishah, said: “From our side, nothing happened in the dressing room. The match referee made a claim and the disciplinary committee issued a ruling based on the match referee’s report.”
🔹The Gol Gohar CEO said: “A document is out now showing that nothing came from us. Our guys are not in this kind of situation, and they also don’t have any previous record. In Gol Gohar’s code of conduct, nothing like this exists.”
🔹Esfandiyarpour said: “If it happened too, how did the match referee identify that Omid Alishah had said it? How did they identify the person who is accused of saying an inappropriate thing from our dressing room as Omid Alishah? It was behind closed doors; someone heard it from outside.”
