Majtaba Roostai’s sister, one of the victims of the protests in Dey, lit a candle to remember her brother and other lives lost by joining the campaign “One Candle, One Name, One Remembrance.” Majtaba Roostai, 40, a cafe cook in Afserieh, Tehran, was killed during the protests in Dey by gunfire from Islamic Republic forces. His body was laid to rest in the village of Hoseynabad, Malayer. His sister says: “I am not only a sister; I am the voice of Iran, the voice of Malayer, and the voice of families who have lost their loved ones.”
