🎥 Long Queues for Getting Diesel Again in Tehran

While videos of long fuel lines in different cities of Iran had been circulating in recent days, reports now indicate queues of trucks for receiving diesel in Tehran; at the same time, the government spokesperson has said that an increase in the price of gasoline is certain.

A video from the Cement Square interchange in Tehran shows a long line of trucks to receive diesel; drivers say they remain in the queue for hours and sometimes, before their turn comes, the station runs out of fuel. This situation continues as Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, has announced that a gasoline price increase is “definite and certain,” and the government will, according to her, adopt a solution to “balance” the fuel subsidy situation. At the same time, some trade channels of truck drivers have predicted that any increase in the price of gasoline could also affect the price of diesel.
