Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense spokesperson announced that the country’s armed forces, early Thursday, 18 Tir, identified and successfully intercepted three hostile ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and 10 hostile drones that had entered Kuwaiti airspace.

He emphasized that Kuwait’s armed forces will continue to carry out their missions with full efficiency and capability, and remain on standby.

The Kuwait Ministry of Defense spokesperson did not announce the origin of these attacks, but previously the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of the Islamic Republic claimed that, in response to U.S. attacks, they carried out missile and drone attacks on Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain.

Kuwait also stated that since the beginning of regional tensions, it has intercepted and destroyed 916 drones, 386 ballistic missiles, and 16 cruise missiles in the skies over the country.
