Israel’s National Security Council, on the eve of the start of Jewish holidays, warned about the continued threat of terrorism against Israeli citizens and Jewish communities outside this country.
Based on this security assessment, the Islamic Republic and its proxy forces, including Hamas and Hezbollah, continue to have a high motivation to design and carry out attacks on Israeli and Jewish targets in different parts of the world.
In this warning, international jihadist groups including ISIS and al-Qaeda are also cited as other sources of threat.
The warning was issued at the same time as the approach of “Rosh Hashanah,” the Jewish New Year, and covers the holiday period ahead until the end of “Sukkot.”
