“Ismail Baghaei,” Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Speaks on Iran–China Relations, Negotiations with the United States, Israel’s Attacks on Palestinians and Lebanon, and the U.S. Economic War Against Iran

“Ismail Baghaei,” the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, on Monday, 16 Shahrivar 1405, at his weekly press briefing, commented on Iran–China relations, talks with the United States, Israel’s attacks on Palestinians and Lebanon, and the United States’ economic war against Iran.

In response to a question about the Islamic Republic’s change in approach in the area of negotiations and diplomacy after the U.S. withdrew from the Islamabad agreement, Baghaei said: “Negotiation is by no means bad or good; rather, it is a tool for advancing the country’s interests and ensuring national interests and security.”
