Iraqchi: I do not work for my own honor and credibility

The Foreign Minister, in a conversation with the program “The Story of the War,” in response to the question of how many times attacks during negotiations would reduce the credibility of the negotiators, said:

“We do not work to preserve our credibility and our political future. Although there are some who make a series of decisions solely for their own credibility, I consider such an approach betrayal.

At that time (between the two wars), we formed the nuclear committee inside the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council, which has now become the negotiations committee and is known as the six-member committee. At first, Martyr Samkhani was in charge of this committee, and then, when Martyr Larijani took over as secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, he assumed the chairmanship of this committee. All discussions related to negotiations took place in this committee, and its resolutions followed exactly the same process as the resolutions of the Supreme National Security Council. There, interesting terms were used regarding the negotiators.” / Jماران
