🔸Interfax news agency reported that Rosatom, Russia’s state nuclear energy company, intends to increase the number of its specialists at the Bushehr nuclear power plant in the near future to about 150 people.
🔸According to Reuters, Rosatom, which is building two new units at the Bushehr nuclear power plant, after the start of the U.S.-Israel war with Iran on 9 Bahman (February 28), had removed hundreds of its employees from Iran.
🔸Nuclear cooperation between Moscow and Tehran has a decades-long history, and Russia has been involved since the early 1990s in building the Bushehr power plant and training Iranian specialists.
🔸An investigation by the “Sistima” research unit at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty also shows that academic and technical cooperation between the two countries in recent years has expanded, including in areas related to uranium enrichment, missile technologies, electronic warfare, and drones.
