◾The U.S. ambassador to Israel said that the Islamic Republic “is in its weakest condition in nearly 50 years, both militarily and economically, and is steadily becoming weaker.”

◾Mike Hakeby, in an interview with the Ynet newspaper, noted that decisions regarding whether to continue military action against the Islamic Republic depend on Washington. He said: “I can’t predict what will happen in terms of concrete military action; this is a decision made in Washington and by the person of the president.”

◾However, he emphasized that Iran is currently “probably in its weakest situation over the past 47 and a half years,” both militarily and economically, and “is becoming weaker day by day.”
