🔶 Grossi: Construction activities underway at the nuclear facility in Koh-e-Kalong

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said on Thursday, September 10 (Shahrivar 19), in an interview with Bloomberg TV, that satellite images have recorded construction activities at Iran’s Koh-e-Kalong nuclear facilities.

According to Grossi, the IAEA has not yet inspected this fortified underground site, which is located precisely south of the Natanz uranium enrichment facilities.

He added: “Although there are signs of construction operations around this site, no precise information is available about activities inside it.”

According to the agency chief, Iran had previously announced its intention to transfer equipment beneath the mountain for ‘protection against attacks.’
