German media report that the chief suspect in Saturday's deadly attack near Berlin's Pride parade is a 21-year-old alleged Islamic State supporter who was previously convicted on terrorism-related charges. Last year he traveled to the Middle East in an unsuccessful attempt to join IS. He was later convicted in Germany of preparing a serious act of politically motivated violence.
