▪The latest developments in Yemen indicate that despite the Houthis’ advance toward the strategic Bab al-Mandab strait, in order to hold on to the areas they have seized, they still have to open new fronts in two provinces—Ta‘izz and Lahj—in the southwest of Yemen.
