🔸 European Aviation Safety Agency: Flights should not take place over Iran and Iraq
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency on Wednesday, July 8 (17 Tir), announced that airlines should not fly in the airspace of Iran and Iraq. The agency cited the continuation of tensions and the possibility of further military action as the reason for this recommendation.
The agency said the bulletin on the airspace of Iran and Iraq will be valid until August 31.
In the agency’s previous bulletin, whose validity ends on Wednesday, Lebanon was also included.
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency also previously asked airlines to exercise caution when flying in the airspace of Bahrain, Kuwait, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
