🔶 Dozens of Palestinians Detained After Armed Clashes in the West Bank

Israeli forces today, Saturday, July 25 (3 Mordad), detained dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank; an action carried out after at least four Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers were killed during an armed clash. The clash began when a group of armed Israeli settlers approached a Palestinian village.

Palestinian officials in the West Bank said Friday’s shooting occurred after the settlers took action that aimed to attack residents of the village of "Tala" in the southwest of Nablus.

According to Reuters, the Israeli army initially described the Israeli civilians present in the incident as "hikers," but later acknowledged that some of them were armed and said that before the involvement of the military forces, both sides had opened fire on each other.
